Michael A. Gunderson is an attorney in the firm’s landlord and tenant, litigation, probate and estate planning. Over his career, he’s had a wide range of experience as a litigator, mediator, case evaluator, arbitrator and facilitator in a multitude of different types of legal cases.

A great accomplishment from his law career was a landmark legal victory for Wal-Mart in an open and obvious fall case. Clients trust Mr. Gunderson because of his ability to stay calm under pressure and communicate effectively with his clients.

Mr. Gunderson earned his undergraduate degree majoring in Economics and Political Science from the University of Michigan in 1974 and his Juris Doctorate from Michigan State University in 1978. He practices in courts across Michigan including the Eastern and Western District of Michigan. Additionally, he is a council member in the Solo and Small Firm Section for General Practice and was elected fellow of the Michigan Bar Foundation.

As a current resident of Grosse Pointe Woods, Mr. Gunderson joined Trowbridge Law Firm, P.C. in August of 2010 because he wanted to practice different areas of law and serve the Metro Detroit area.
